What our private travellers are saying
I was privileged to participate in a wonderful walking & gourmet tour of south west WA. Admittedly, this was a private friends tour and Graeme was our tour guide/driver/organiser. The tour was 5 star. Whilst Nature provides the magical scenery, Graeme ensured that we experienced the best on offer. From the accommodation, the walks, the restaurants & wine tasting it was first class & memorable & everything went smoothly. Highly recommended & will do another tour with Walkabout Gourmet Adventures in the future. Thank you Graeme for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Three weeks ago nine women friends and myself joined Graeme for a wonderful walking tour of Wilson's Promontory. It is the most beautiful national park with stunning coastal views and awesome rock formations. Accomodation was excellent and we were thoroughly spoilt by Trish and Lyn in gourmet food style. Above all it was Graeme, Trish and Lyn that were so friendly and fun that made our experience memorable.

We had a 5 day exclusive family tour of Wilson's Promontory with Graeme as our guide. Even though some of us had never met Graeme, he fit right in as an extended member of the family. He was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, patient and generous of his time spent with us along with having great knowledge of the area visited. I really enjoyed his company and conversation. I would highly recommend Graeme as a tour guide!

There is something special about getting right out of your comfort zone, with your own friends, and a supportive guide, with glorious scenery amid wildflowers and nature at its finest. The Celtic Way was full of contrasts and surprises, the nite ferry to France and Mont St Michel being my standouts. I never imagined the beauty of Helford Passage and Cornwall or the luxury and conviviality of The Budock Vean Hotel nor walking in Devon and the Moors and all their mystery and history, along flowing brooks and leafy glades. Fancy getting the nite ferry from Plymouth with your own bunk room, complete with bathroom and porthole and waking up in France! Replete with Traditional French Petit Dejeuner to follow! Imagine a Degustation luncheon the shores of an inlet with Brittany oysters to feed on and Cider to wash them down. Then to spend 3 glorious days discovering the Atlantic coastline and Monet's inspirational Aiguilles de Port Coton in all their wild glory, all from our cliff top hotel, Le Grand Large which translated means The Open Sea, visiting tiny villages tucked away in coves with excellent Pancakes and coffee and friendly locals. Thanks to Gilles, our wonderful guide who adopted us as his " Bambini's" and made everything possible for an unforgettable tour. This was my third tour with WGA and all have been great!
