Our journey begins in Perth, heading inland towards the picturesque coastal town of Albany, where we’ll spend two nights. During our stay, we’ll explore the breathtaking Torndirrup National Park and delve into the rich history of the National Anzac Centre, a poignant tribute to Australia’s military past.
Continuing along our route, we pass beneath the towering wind turbines—the largest in the southern hemisphere—before savouring the exquisite wines at Yilgarnia Winery. From here, we arrive at a luxurious spa retreat in Denmark, ideally positioned for our two-day exploration of the renowned Bibbulmun Track. As we meander along this iconic trail, we’ll uncover the stunning beauty of Greens Pool and Elephant Rocks, two pristine beaches where turquoise waters meet soft, white sands. Our journey will also introduce you to the region’s finest dining, including a visit to the acclaimed Pepper and Salt restaurant by Silas Masih.
Next, we experience a “tree change” as we immerse ourselves in the majestic karri forests around Pemberton. Highlights include a walk among the treetops on the 40-metre-high Tree Top Walk and an eco-cruise through Walpole Inlet, offering a chance to spot local wildlife up close.
Reaching Cape Leeuwin, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet, we stand at the southwestern tip of mainland Australia, the gateway to the famed Cape to Cape Track. Over the next two days, we’ll follow this scenic trail along the rugged coastline and idyllic beaches of Margaret River. Wine lovers will delight in visits to Leeuwin Estate and Voyager Vineyard, where tastings of renowned local wines are complemented by a leisurely lunch amidst the region’s stunning vineyards.
A morning stroll through the charming coastal town of Margaret River offers the perfect way to unwind before our final day. On the journey back to Perth, we’ll pause to stretch our legs at Busselton Jetty—the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere—before returning to the vibrant city lights of Perth.
