This extraordinary adventure promises to unveil the unique landscapes and rich biodiversity of these three jewels of Southern Africa.
Namibia: The Land of Contrasts
Begin your expedition in Namibia, a country nestled along the Atlantic coast. Despite its coastal location, Namibia is dominated by the world’s oldest desert, the Namib. Traverse the mesmerizing landscapes adorned with intriguing flora and captivating geological formations. Immerse yourself in the stark beauty of Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, and Twyfelfontein. Here, you’ll encounter a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras, offering a rare opportunity to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.
Botswana: Wilderness Untamed
Venture into the heart of Botswana, a land known for its arid climate, interrupted only by the lush oasis beside the Caprivi. Off the beaten track, Botswana serves as a haven for wildlife, particularly elephants. Experience the raw beauty of Western Caprivi and Chobe National Park as you navigate through the untamed wilderness, encountering the incredible biodiversity that defines this region.
Victoria Falls: The Seventh Natural Wonder
Conclude your expedition at the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world and one of the “Seven Natural Wonders.” Feel the ground shake beneath you as you witness the sheer power and majesty of this natural marvel. Known as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ or “the smoke that thunders,” Victoria Falls lives up to its name, captivating visitors with its breathtaking grandeur. Walk in the footsteps of David Livingstone, the first explorer to discover the falls in 1860, and experience the timeless allure of this iconic destination.
Join us on this African Walkabout Safari, where every moment promises discovery, adventure, and the chance to witness the untamed beauty of Southern Africa’s most remarkable landscapes and wildlife.

On the Grooteberg Plateau we are perched on the edge of the escarpment overlooking the magnificent Klip Valley. In Etosha we stay in charming chalets where we can watch animals drink at the floodlit waterholes at night and at Victoria Falls our resort hotel is located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River just a few km’s from the famous Vic Falls.
Cuisine
On our African Walkabout journey, most of our meals are enjoyed in the comfort of our lodges, where you’ll savour a delightful blend of local flavours. Most of our Safari Lodges have wonderful lounges or outdoor terraces where we can meet for a pre-dinner drink and watch the gorgeous African sunsets. Our guests are always amazed at the variety and quality of the meals which we are presented considering the isolated locations where we are staying.
There are always plenty of delicious choices to choose from and guests with dietary requirements are well catered for. There are plenty of wonderful South African wines on offer. A highlight of many of the lodges is that the waiting staff also double as entertainers and after dinner they often put on an impromptu concert for the guests – a real treat!
